About HVAC in Pequot Lakes, MN

In Pequot Lakes, MN, heating is not a comfort question. It is a safety one.

A furnace that fails in January is a different kind of problem from an air conditioner failing in July. Pipes are at risk within hours. Pao Card works on that basis: heating equipment gets checked before the season, not after something goes wrong at the coldest point of the year.

What we do

• Heating repair. Diagnosis first. Ignition problems, failed inducer motors, cracked heat exchangers, pressure switch faults from blocked intake or exhaust. Some of those are routine repairs, one of them is a reason to stop using the furnace immediately, and you should be told which you have.
• Furnace replacement. Sized by load calculation. Oversized furnaces short cycle, which wastes fuel and leaves rooms unevenly heated. Efficiency ratings matter here more than in mild climates, because the equipment runs so many hours.
• Cooling. Summers are humid enough that air conditioning is a real load, and the same sizing principles apply in reverse.
• Maintenance. Combustion checks, filter and blower service, and clearing condensate lines on high-efficiency units, which can freeze where they exit the building.

How we work

Written pricing before work begins. Technicians who explain the fault and show you the component. Straight answers on repair versus replace, including the cases where a cracked heat exchanger makes the decision for you.
